When Onaje Henderson realized that Black young professionals in his social circle weren’t interested or concerned with collecting art, he decided to do something about it. In this feature by Shelia Poole for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Henderson shares his story of how he started ZuCot Gallery with his brother Omari Henderson and close friend Troy Taylor. This trio -- cheerfully calling themselves ‘The Art Brothers’ -- works to make their gallery a welcome space, and actively educate audiences about the business of collecting art, while thinking of themselves as "custodians of culture."
