Moving from the ancient to contemporary, art history survey courses cover a lot of ground, but still lack representation of non-Western art and artists. Dushko Petrovich's ArtNews feature revisits art history's origins and asks scholars to weigh in on the debate of how to make this area of study more inclusive.
