James Ransome is a prize-winning illustrator, most recognizable for his work in children’s books. Karen Michel for NPR spoke with the artist about his career, his inspirations, and his creative process. Ransome also shared insights on what it is like to work alongside a writer and spoke about his new interest in painting.
