MacArthur Genius Fellow and photographer Dawoud Bey, joins award-winning New Yorker staff-writer Jelani Cobb, in The African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta (ADAMA)'s virtual Arts Salon. ADAMA has been hosting weekly Instagram live discussions featuring artists, directors, curators, and other outstanding arts professionals. We're happy to see two of our favorites here, in conversation. From music, to reminiscing about growing up in Queens, NY, to Bey's recollection of capturing his first 'successful photograph,' the two cover much ground in an hour. Enjoy!
You can learn more about ADAMA's Virtual Salon offerings through their website.
